Our Story
From its beginning in 1987, Leak Control Services, Inc (LCS) has been solely dedicated to addressing slableak and pinhole leak problems affecting piping systems in residential buildings. Our moto is “Give us your biggest headaches, if we don’t solve your problem you don’t pay for the installation.”
LCS is well versed in the alternatives used to address leak problems in buildings, and have pioneered methods of cathodic protection (to address slableak problems caused by soil-related corrosion of buried piping) and potable water corrosion inhibitors (water treatment to address pinhole leak problems caused water-related corrosion). We have protected hundreds of thousands of residential units. We are licensed engineering contractors in multiple states offering turnkey installations and service of corrosion control systems.
Our founder, Roger Benham, P.E., is a degreed metallurgical and corrosion engineer with an extensive history in corrosion control system design and forensic analysis of corrosion in buildings. He is a lecturer in the Materials Engineering Department, California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo. He is highly experienced in fluid dynamics related to pump sizing, flow control, and water velocity effects on corrosion of hot water circulating systems.
